 | The 2nd round of the 2025/26 Individual Development Award is currently open and will be open until May 31st. The IDA is available to all UUP reresented employees and allows reimbursement for professional development. The award allows for up to $2000 per year (7/2 - 7/1) for up to 2 activities or projects. Since the maximum award is $2000 combined from either round any award granted in the first round will be considered when approving the applications for the second round. There have been a number of questions regarding the process. The approval of the award is a three step process. Applications are reviewed by a chapter committee composed of UUP members. Once the committee has reviewed the applications they are then reviewed at the campus administration level by Labor Relations. The applications are then reviewed by OER (Office of Employee Relations) in Albany. The award amount can be denied or modified at any level. This is the reason it is critical that all applications are completed completely and accurately. |
